In April 2013, Knox visited a Bible Museum in St. Arnaud Victoria, Australia. He spent a considerable amount of time there that day and it sparked an interest in him to begin collecting Bibles, Christian books and relevant articles with the view of setting up a Bible Museum here in Geelong.A committee of several interested people was formed, and Geelong Bible Museum and Resource Centre was born.Over the last 9 years, Knox has been collecting Bibles, charts and Bible related articles from Op Shops, Book shops, Book fairs, Antique and Market stalls as well as gifts from private donors. There are now over 500 Bibles and New Testaments on display with back up references and historical data for many of these, and many more waiting for room.Knox's paternal grandfather, a Bible Teacher, made a model of the Old Testament Tabernacle with a scale of 1 inch to 1 cubit (about 45 cm or 18 inches). It was not complete when it was handed down to him. Thanks to the help of Vicki Higgerson, John Hartwick and his wife, Elaine, we were able to complete the missing parts and it is now available to explore.
